Need Help Getting Groceries to Family Members 60 and Over?

In some parts of the country, particularly New York and New Jersey, it may be challenging to go outside and get groceries. Traditional delivery services may alsp be delayed or unavailable. AskUmbrella is a service designed specifically for people 60 and up, helping pick up groceries and delivering it at your front door for a modest fee. We've had brethren use it for family on the other side of the country, and it works well. Be aware, it may take about a week for an order to be fulfilled.

We know that filing for unemployment is complicated, especially if this is the first time you've needed to file because of the unprecedented times we're in. Within a few weeks after you file for unemployment on EDD, you'll receive a letter to register on the CalJOBs website. It's important to do this as quickly as you receive the letter, because it can potentially delay when you can receive beneifts.

The link here will take you to UI Online, which requires you to first register for an account and to answer questions about your current unemployment status. From this link, click on "Log in or Register" to start the benefits process.
